“A new study has calculated that increasing trees and other vegetation in urban areas by 30% could have prevented more than 1/3rd of all global heat-related deaths between 2000 to 2019. Heavier, more expensive, become obsolete quickly, can be hard to repair.

really? A lot of ours were built that way some time ago, and after some terrible 🔥🔥💀💀💀🔥🔥had fire escapes bolted on the outsides of them so people would not be trapped in their apartments if the only stairway caught fire.

Big discrepancy though between different neighborhoods. Some are quite bare and hot.
