I'm the kind of person who will go to the gas station and fill up the tank until I get bored. I don't think I have ever filled a tank to the brim. At some point I just say "that's enough" and keep it moving. It is now occurring to me that's a weird thing to do. Why not just fill it up! But no.

“…and then you keep stirring and adding cheese until the Holy Spirit tells you to stop.”
“Uh…that could be a while”
“Then it will be very good.”
I set it and it turns itself off when done and changes temp power settings as it cooks. I rarely stop it.
Most of the time, things are cooked nicely in it.
I often make omelets in it.
I grease a bowl.
Beat the eggs and add the toppings
beeps when done.
Happy Friday
I like that.
I just start it and then tidy up my car and clean my windows while it fills.
throw trash out...
I thought everyone did that?
The pump works correctly more often than not.
When it fails, it just stops before the tank is full.
Then, I have to hold it while it fills.
I have never had one overflow my tank.
I have overflowed it trying to top off.
I stay with it.
I don't leave.
I trust what I know.
I also like to get a total that ends in .50 or .00. I call it a “perfect pump”.
Or you can get a drink or a snack or something, and your tank will be full when you're back. 👍
And then I wonder if anyone ever wonders why I pull up to the pump in a car making weird space ship noises and add all of like 2 or 3 gallons before leaving.
