Laura Tingle has committed the sin at present ABC of thinking about issues and using her own judgement based on what is actually happening. Unfortunately for ABC management she is far too trusted by the public to be able to do a 'Lattouf'-style dismissal on, and hence the 'sidelining'

Yes when the broadcast finished i finally checked out how all the seats I was ‘really’ interested in had faired. It was then I realised how many huge gaps there had been in following community independents or others throughout the evening. Less of James McGrath would have really helped.

As many have said Laura Tingle does not tolerate the LNP sycophancy shown to LNP people like Speers and Crabb. I think Ferguson is a bit more balanced but Speers is the Head Prefect and calls the shots. Laura was scathing when she got her chance toward James McGrath, the rest felt sorry for him.
