I enjoyed it at the time.

I tried to go back recently and couldn’t figure out how to get some textures to load properly and said fuck it, I didn’t remember loving it enough to deal with that after more than a couple hours of troubleshooting 😂

I think it’s playable BUT you have to give it to time get used to the controls of that time. I play a ton of OG Xbox and every time I play a game I struggle at first and hate the controls but then I get used to it.

It's been a minute since I played it, but if you had any love for KoTOR it's worth a try IMO. Very pretty setting, decent gameplay and story. Always wish they'd kept exploring that world like they did with DA, and their skill system for fighting had a lot of possibility.

I played it for the first time on quarantine times and it holds up really well. Some dated humor aside (I'm mostly talking about "I hate my wife" type humor, not anything particularly horrible) and the combat makes me think that they were so close yet so far from doing a souls like before fromsoft.

If you can past, like, quests that are poorly motivated (a lot of the time, it just feels like people are asking you to do chores), it's a lot of fun!
