It was probably from one of your podcasts that I learned this BUT enforcement against financial crimes and political crimes is so low because "everybody does it" so only the most extreme examples get extreme punishments.

Enforcing existing laws consistently would solve a lot of issues.

I seem to recall Terry Pratchett conceived of a country that put all it's leaders in prison the day they were elected as it saved time. I suspect a similar approach should be applied to GOP nominees.

Which makes a ton of sense. Robert Mueller sucked, but one of the things he did was roll up guys like Paul Manafort, who was obviously guilty of dozens of crimes once you so much as glanced at his financials + tax returns.

Aggressive investigation of these people is imperative.
