I feel like sike is what kids say when they first learn about sarcasm but don’t know how to execute it properly so they just insult someone and then say sike afterwards. And that’s why I feel it sort of phases out once you reach high school

I hate “sike”. I don’t understand the process. You can’t take an established root like “psyche-“ and decide to spell it as a homonym. This is etymological malpractice.
