Dementia can cause anger and aggression in some. My mother had it, although she didn't become aggressive. But, I see similarities in him. For ex., her language became quite simplified as she continued to lose her ability to find words in order to express herself. His has. I believe he has both.
His dad had dementia. He speaks in word salads. The forward lean. The disorientation walking on or leaving the stage. Shuffling gait. What else could it be?
I think that ship's sailed. Can't hope for a heart attack - he doesn't have the necessary equipment; I'm holding out for missing a step on the way out of the perv plane or a disaffected republican with a good aim
... Age doesn't automatically mean wisdom
or dementia...
And, I'll gladly repeat myself:
He's been given the chance
for too long
and over and over again.
Because America sees "success" primarily
in making money.
No matter how poorly earned it is!
No, he doesn't have dementia.
It's too easy
to use that to explain him and his actions,
or even to excuse them.
The madness of his actions
is based on his heightened negativity, which has always been his characteristic.
Unfortunately, nothing unusual
in people who have grown old ...
Personally, I think he's eaten up with STDs in addition to being morbid obesity, having dementia, and being insane. And just think this idiot is in charge of the country!💔
I don't think we need to worry about the possibility of dementia. They have an entire party of sociopaths willing to pick up the mantle of destruction should dementia become a factor the administration can't hide behind their facade of righteous brutality.
No.
This is an issue we have in that people confuse a deteriorating brain with psychopathy and/or malignant narcissism. This is who he and others in power are.
We live in a "Pathocracy" globally.
These are the times of monsters. https://www.bps.org.uk/psychologist/problem-pathocracy
It's hereditary. They set up a fake office for his father and gave him busy work all day including signing pretend deals, fake meetings & staff and the guy didn't know any better. Meanwhile Donald was running the actual company. Maybe same ruse now?
So sorry about this, Lewy's is horrible on another level, due to quick progression. Trump's issues seem more akin to Alzheimer's, and not very advanced. I have a close family member who is entering the middle stage, and they had the same issues with speech patterns and not being able to follow
With his diet? I’m certain. Maybe all this back and forth is because he isn’t getting enough water and the sundowners is really bad.
He does seem to have trouble sleeping.
All signs.
There's no way he doesn't in my opinion. Between some of my family members and my friend's father who all had dementia he's very much like them. I'm not a doctor just someone who helped care for them.
Since his childhood he is totally lacking in the development of values. Empathy is completely missing, and he is the living example of selfishness without any consideration for others.
Trump’s a narcissistic malevolent psychopath!
How can Republicans just sit back & watch people’s lives being shattered, jobs being lost, veterans losing benefits, & our country’s laws & institutions being annihilated? Do Republicans really think tax cuts for the super rich warrant such destruction?
his dynasty is still earning no doubt through inside dealing short selling stocks or
who knows what clandestine activities.
like all dictators, when they run they do so covered in blood diamonds , gold from the poors savings or pensions and away to offshore wealth from their ill gotten gains....
He has dementia, possibly frontal temporal dementia. He is at least a malignant narcissist, probably a sociopath. He has the intelligence of a tapeworm. And, fun fact, the dementia makes it all steadily worse. The rage, sadism, desire to watch it all burn, reflexive revenge, all that on steroids.
One and the same. Senile dementia and narcissistic personality disorder with delusions of grandeur (~ Emperor of the World, answerable to no power on Earth)
It's a struggle. Even if he were deemed not capable he has a vp that he has influenced to be of the same dangerous tactics that are just as much a threat to our democracy as he is.
Protest even when we can’t. I am bummed they canceled the workers rights event in Pittsburgh. I wanted to help out. I want to be a part of something and make a difference
I’ll refrain from saying how I feel about that man. I wish his base would wake up and realize how full of shit he is. Btw you are a marvelous actress Ms Farrow
I think he for sure has that. My mom died from dementia, I'm seeing signs. In two years my mom went from ok to thinking there were 2 physical versions of my sister.
“What if”? Nice of you to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it seems pretty clear he’s got it. Most people with his cognitive abilities would no longer have car keys. He’s got the future of our world.
Sycophantic, ignorant, and terrified Republicans are the biggest problem. We used to have a group of so-called "one nation Conservatives" in Britain. Boris Johnson eradicated them and replaced them with idiotic, clueless "yes men and women." US has same problem, only it affects the entire planet.
"Parkinson's disease associated psychosis." Psychosis can vary from severe confusion (disordered thinking) to seeing things that aren’t there (hallucinations) to believing things that are not true (delusions).
I wondered about that as my 88yr old Dad has it but I noticed in 2012 others did not. They only see they are doing things their way and 100% think its the " Right " way hmm
As often as he claims he knew nothing about the acts he has ordered done and denied signing something he just was shown signing, he should be called on it.

IMO, that is no longer a question.
Full of subtle humour, too - if only it weren't so serious.
Still doesn't know what WiFi is. Or bluetooth... falls down a lot. 🤔
jk We know he's been a psychotic little prick since he was a toddler throwing rocks at a baby.

can't put this down to a medical condition.
Trump continues to play the useful idiot for Putin and the bros.

He’s probably getting addicted to this frenetic pace, too…and the attention….and whatever drugs he takes to keep going.
I just can’t imagine seeing him going for a simple walk with Melania in the Rose Garden within the next few weeks.
He does seem to have trouble sleeping.
All signs.
We’re all going to die
He definitely is demented

It’s a disaster that could so easily be remedied of not for the cowardice of Republicans
He does
