The right-hand side reminds me of the bullet-headed French knights in Holy Grail. (aside: if you want to see how Python could afford those costumes on their budget, check out "Robin and Marian" and the chanting(?) knights about 70 minutes in. Gotta love raiding last year's costume store.)
