It's why I rarely watch TV anymore. I watch shows to be entertained. I hate reality TV. I like football but watch the red zone. I used to have shows I watched each night of the week but not anymore. I like NCIS. How long till that is on the chopping block. I also liked the show Irrational.

I feel like the studios/services/networks are transitioning into being run by people with private equity mindsets. My entertainment $$ shifts monthly based on new shows and movies. I cancel and subscribe so there is data to support entertainment. I pay for podcasts I like. I vote with my dollars.

I just took a trip down memory lane looking at the greatest shows ever on NBC. I think the management in search of the quick buck is forgetting who they are. Anywhere can show sports, but it's the narrative shows that create memories, and I say that as a football fan!
