I am vehemently anti people who pretend Japan is better than other places because it’s always A Tell but also I just found out Cybertrucks are not street legal here.

When people (weebs and weirdos) hold up Japan as this mecca of everything good, it's so fucking weird and they usually have never left the US. But they'll act like China or anywhere mainland is off the table for travel.
I hate Cyber"trucks" (still can't figure out how it qualifies as a truck) but I also hate so many automobiles in the US. I'm 5'3" and if the hood comes to my shoulder or higher, I hate it.
I think it’d get stuck in their streets or would be taking up multiple lanes just by existing. I followed one just before Christmas and they are way bigger in real life than they look in pictures. Also way dumber.
I remember looking at this street sign in Atwater like: if I lived there I’d be safe from cybertrucks but I’m sure they aren’t going to obey the signs.
I try to vacation there once a year because it's a perfect country to visit for 6-8 days and then leave, and as far as I can tell the locals would prefer that too
IIUC it's because Muskrat doesn't want to spend the money to get them certified that they meet Australian standards. If they can even meet those standards, which I think they probably can't
Why would anyone want cybertruck parts, though? And there’s the thing where they occasionally catch fire if they get wet. Junkyards are usually outdoors, I believe.
Hang on, they didn’t clarify whether it’s a vending machine that makes the coffee in front of you or whether it’s canned hot coffee from a vending machine. Because one of those you can find stateside!
These days, yes. In the 80's, when I lived there? Woo baby, dang, so glad they were squat toilets and I could use them without touching any part of my body to any object in there
Japan definitely has its own issues and no nation should be venerated too highly for all sorts of reasons. OTOH, Japan has a healthy magazine economy and arcades so...
I was looking at exactly that here (Netherlands), since I never saw a Cybertruck in real life. They are literally to big to drive the roads here, unable to use parking spots etc.
They're too big here but the folks who want one aren't smart enough to think through the problem alas. I've seen one near where I live doing a zillion-point turn trying to parallel park

Like the right to carry a pistol down the main street
Okay, in this case a "vehicle".
And that was the last I followed of that account.
Japan isn’t perfect but it’s safe affordable and there’s a safety net so I ain’t moving back.
The public restrooms in Japan are way cleaner than the US’s too.
Definitely use the squatter!
America could also have this, but we abandoned it to make food worse but also more expensive at the same time.
