AOC remains one of a handful of elected democrats who understand how politics operates

AOC on the Dem strategy against the trans sports bill today, where they argued it would protect "predators," and ended up losing just 2 Trump-district Dems on it:

Time to protect American kids from GOP perverts.
May his legacy shine bright.
May he, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and their entire family be blessed with protection, abundant health, and peace.
Dems will continue to lose if they back dudes taking opportunities from girls.
Rs tell their base what to like and the base follows suit cuz they vote by feelies.
Dems ask their base what they want then respond "oh that might be too much maybe we should just do a small part of that and maybe we can get the right on board."
This year their owner is telling them all to buy white sheets and white face-masks because he found to many of his cult
She gets not much passed before the midterms. Don't hold that against her.
only 13 Republicans in the House fucking voted for it LOL
that's the job of the President - whipping votes for important laws; at least it should be
no one would have predicted that that was all Biden would get passed after Dems won the GA runoffs

Split ticketing has also been a thing for a long time.

The solution is for the D’s to establish a quick response unit
AOC also has the privilege of representing a strong Democratic constituency.
No wonder these morons have no single thought for more than 2 seconds.
lol, lmao even.
today showed its exceedingly rare amongst voters on the left of the political spectrum too. just total key jangling
Whether in the media, law, or politics, the idea that so many highly educated, trained, experienced professionals "don't know how" to *do their jobs* has gained an amazing level of credence among too many people.
p.s. “The Good Party” is available with the FEC.
I keep using the example of how people were absolutely lapping it up when Tim Walz was doing his whole “weird” thing, which was so tame but still had an “Emperor has no clothes” vibe that was working. Apparently Dem strategists told him to cool off the rhetoric though. 🤦♀️
Either they're stupid or they aren't interested in defending their constituents. I simply can't/don't/won't believe they're stupid.
GOP is openly trying to kill people in my family, people who harvest almost all food, and targeting people in my state who lost everything in a firestorm.
Dems can either fight for us rfn, or they can get fkd
Moaning on the pavement that "at least we followed the rules" isn't attractive.
Some of it is the (very human) tendency to become friends with the people you work with for a long time. Then add that they are rich and the policies don't actually affect them.
That's the way they view it, so much for representing constituents.
