I still find this interesting — can we entice employees back to working in the office by bringing back the idea of an enjoyable, sociable lunch in the neighbourhood? In France, eating in the office is actually against the rules, and employers pay for lunch in local restaurants.

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
I loved to just sit in my car, eat and then read or take a nap.
I didn't even like work events, they were tortured to me and I would always find an excuse to leave early.
Great idea, but costs and quality are way different in other countries.

The worst part of working for me was the commute.
