Maybe you're just really racist and can't tell Bill Cosby (i.e., Ghost Dad) from Forest Whitaker (i.e., Ghost Dog). Then again, the plots of those two films are almost identical.
Plus - Jim Jarmusch never made a film that wasn't beautiful to look at. And if you like his "slow and deliberative reflections on life as film" (as I do) then it's a definite don't-miss (Not to mention that Forest Whitaker really is superb).
we used to be a guy that liked it more than it deserved but at least we learned that actually we just like seeing Willem Dafoe chew the scenery, which he also happens to do in many better movies than that
