Thoughts? 🤔 AOC's "Fighting Oligarchy" tour with Bernie Sanders is drawing massive crowds and boosting her profile as a potential 2028 presidential contender, with rallies hitting record numbers in Los Angeles, Denver, and Folsom.

With the same certainty I had in 2004 that Barack Obama would be our first black President, I have know since she was first elected to congress that her presidency is inevitable. If is 2028 or any other time of her choosing I am all in!
I do NOT care if it’s AOC, Pritzker, or someone else. I will vote for whoever is not a Republican. if I AM STILL ALLOWED TO VOTE! Why? Because I’m not an asshole.
No. We’re in the place we are from picking candidates who can’t win in this country! Hillary, Kamala, both great women, but not legitimate candidates that can win in a misogynist, dominated society supported by men and women.
I'm not an American, so my opinion doesn't count. However, I do think that after the experience of watching Trump in action, anyone could be President in the USA. It appears to be a popularity contest and deep pockets make one more popular.
I’d vote for her… I’m guessing centrist may not… but then I’m guessing that the next presidential election will be as rigged as they are in Russia, so let’s go for it!
AOC is an amazing woman, Leader, and Representative for sure, we are blessed to have her fighting for the people everyday. Gotta love her tenacity, spirit, courage and moral conscience. 🙂
I'd be happy to see her run but, she has allowed the right to paint her as an extreme leftist. If she runs, she will need the moderate vote so undoing the smear campaign that had successfully pigeonholed her will be critical.
there needs to be more "water under the bridge" before she is appropriate for nomination...mainly because a rush to candidacy probably would be too soon.
Does she have what it takes? Well, how many more incompetent white guys can we take as president when we have the potential to elect an intelligent woman instead?
Yes I think she has what it takes. But I also know they will lose their little minds all over again and I’m terrified what they will do. All the more reason we need her.
Can we get thru 2025 intact as a country first? Please everyone help register voters with @fieldteam6.bsky.social and write to voters in swing GOP districts with @activateamerica.bsky.social. CA 22 - Valadao is scared and wrote letter to Johnson about Medicaid cuts - more pressure on GOP!!
Not to diminish AOC because she is so effective, but they’ll be a lot of water under the bridge yet before decisions are made. But I am so glad to see the cream rising to the top.
Love her, but America is not ready. We had 2 of the most experienced qualified women to run. And you know how that turned out? We can not risk it. Here's a thought: What if a high-profile male runs has her as the VP. Wins But then immediately steps down. So we finally get our first woman, President.
I’d vote for her. I have not always agreed with her but she’s honest. Calls bs when she sees it. Extremely intelligent. So yes. I’d support her run if Kamala doesn’t run again.
Would be really, really great, but truthfully, looking from the outside, the racism & misogyny that’s so rife in US baffles me! Personally feel if there’s elections in ‘28, Dems need an articulate, youngish male who’s not overtly progressive, with a solid military background. AOC as running mate
Personally I really like her, but the last two times we've put a woman up for election it has not gone well because of our racist misogynistic society. I'd rather put Pete up there.
Officially they lost… though I have my doubts… especially Kamala… $300 million from Elon… Trump winning every single swing state… something that has NEVER happened before ever… it is all very fishy.
I just can’t see it. The country has not gotten past the misogyny. She is young and I really hope she is a presidential candidate some day soon, but not 2028.
She is indeed a great leader. However, we unfortunately have to accept that the US population is, on average, massively intellectually deficient. Thus, we need a candidate that can “win back” some of those pricks that voted for him, namely a white male candidate who focuses entirely on the economy.
Yeah, probably. Not sure if those pricks would vote for a Jew, though, so maybe Mark Kelly or Tim Walz. So ridiculous that in 2025 we still have to consider a candidate’s religion, color, or gender etc. It’s just infuriating!! But we HAVE to WIN or none of our good intentions will ever come to pass!
After two failed trump experiences, in 2028 we are not just ready for a female president we will be ready for an all female ticket. AOC has what it takes for sure, she is young and we need to maximize her years of service. Midterms, Senator, 8 years as VP to Harris and another 8 years as president
Not yet. She’s really not ready to step up. And more importantly, this country is not ready to elect a woman for that job. Both Hillary and Kamala were far more qualified and yet, we know how that story went.
But will the democratic Party and voters approve? After the failure of Clinton and then Harris, its an uphill battle when so many women will not support a superb woman candidate.
I have some serious criticisms when it comes to AOC but it's doubtful youre working from the same mindset
But to be clear, you see Kamala and AOC as very similar candidates?
And it's what? 90% sexism that prevented/will prevent them from becoming potus?
Too early for this debate. Can we make it another 100 days? That’s the question? AOC, is standing by what she has always said, and believe. Country only listening now because they’re scared. As they should be.
I am kind of at the point where we either elect a progressive woman who will make life better, or just elect a Trump again, and get on with the accidental nuclear war, which we will totally deserve.
I think we'll have a huge slate of candidates. Including Gov Pritzgar. I don't think America is ready for a woman president. That's a sad statement from someone who would love to live to see that day. But the stakes are too high.
I think she'd do a fine job. I also think she's not electable at present so if you support her - or anybody else - GET TO WORK, PEOPLE. Democracy is not meant to be a spectator sport. Call/write/march/BE HEARD. We're proving our voices make a difference, let's try to make that obvious to the GOP.
Yep, no matter the crowds or excitement, America has shown us that they will not elect a woman. No matter how brilliant or qualified. Two well qualified lawyers and politicians were rejected due to misogyny.
I wish I could disagree with this sentiment, but I can’t. We had two more-than-qualified candidates who were not elected solely SOLELY because they were women.
And I will say, every single patriot has to make sacrifices to defeat fascism right now. So if she has to sacrifice her ambition to ensure we get in the white house, I expect her to do that. But she is great and we do need her. We just cannot afford to lose again.
It is way too early to rule out Pete Buttigieg. And considering how misogynistic many Americans still are, I have real reservations. Maybe she could run for vice president with Pete? First and foremost we need a non fascist at all costs! Remember our last 2 very capable women candidates lost.
AOC is a decent, honest, competent, kind, knowledgeable and intelligent politician, everything that the orange lying racist rapist isn't.
She'd be a great president, with Pete Buttigieg as her running mate?
But I'd love Pete as president and her as vice president. Divine combination.
I think she has what it takes to be a president but America is still NOT ready to elect a woman. Maybe be in 100 more year. So find a white guy for 2028.
I would absolutely vote for her but the misogyny in this country is strong and has given us 5 years of Trump disasters (fingers crossed it ends during year 5)

I was ready for a female president two decades ago, but it could take another decade or two for the rest of America to catch up.
Trump is laying waste to America so badly MAGA gonna beg those two to fix it !!!!
She'd be a great president, with Pete Buttigieg as her running mate?
But I'd love Pete as president and her as vice president. Divine combination.
They support all the people of this country.
They represent us well.
But here's hoping the liberal establishment stops contributing to the general fuckery.
America can't handle a strong, smart, qualified woman president. (See 2016 & 2024 footnotes)
