There is a lot of chaos around Trump's executive orders. The arena to sort it all out will be the courts, and thankfully, Democrats and progressive groups have already filed more than a dozen lawsuits.

With enough energy and determination, perhaps the veil is distortion will be lifted sobering up the Tea Party/MAGA/etc. followers.

Also, how do we apply pressure to the Supreme Court to make them recuse themselves re: conflicts of interest?
What does the dumpster cost American taxpayers? Trillions, no doubt, for this moron.
Let the term "functional democracy" be the key here in determining what will happen.
If we're lucky, maybe the military will remember their oath is to the country, not to Dear Leader.
Doesn't that violate labor laws? cc @democracydocket.com
Dare we hope that court filings and appeals and re-appeals and delays may help save us from Trump's destruction of our government? It's the same tactic that HE has used to evade justice, for years, in many of his cases!
But the psychic damage from seeing Trump try to dismantle it will not be easily remedied.

Do any of the EO's signed so far affect guardianship and conservatorships of a disabled person? If so, what are the, if any, repercussions? TIA

Same duped as the 1,000s of contractors who built out Trump casinos. They all went bankrupt.
I lived in NYC then and met at least a few dozen people whose families were affected. They each knew dozens and dozens more.
What are some of the immediate legal recourses, other than suing and without adding to the chaos, do States or individuals have to counter the WH’s unconstitutional actions? Eg. can they withhold paying federal taxes or otherwise if the Fed govt isn’t meeting its obligations?
Thank you Marc for your reporting!

Marc- the INFURIATING thing is that the message about the threat isn't getting through.
My family thinks I'm nuts for being concerned.
Why don't Dem MOCs break from the routine to raise hell?
Why are they still going along with Trump's schedule?
WE MUST STOP PLAYING ALONG!

As Andrew Jackson said regarding the SCOTUS enforcing its own rulings: "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it."

1. Many of his EO's are illegal and will be struck down by the courts
2. Most of his EO's are theater with no real impact
3. Democratic AG's in many states are suing, right alongside you
We should get used to an outrage a day
