You're on the right track, but here you'd just write "hot-dog-washed." (You'd use an en dash if the two-word modifying phrase were a proper noun à la "Iraq War–era bomber," because "Iraq-War-era" is considered odd-looking.)

Hold on. I read “dog-washed vodka” to mean the vodka was washed by a dog, not that the vodka was used to wash a dog. I’m not sure how vodka is washed or how you train a dog to do it, but that’s the implication.
