Been watching it and DOC. Medical drama is having a moment right now. And they say The Pitt supposed to have 15 episodes, so I can only imagine what the rest of the episodes are. But it’s so gently done. Beautiful and dramatic.
It’s really good. Been catching it every week. I love when the credit’s roll and MAX always has a cast shot from ER to try and get me to watch it and there’s a fresh faced Noah Wyle character so full of youthful optimism.
Looking forward to the episode though, the series has been pretty good so far. Little soap opera-y for my taste but the performances are good and the characters are solid and each episode has grown on me more than the last
I was ugly sobbing with that Walk of Honor at the end. And I'm just waiting waiting waiting the the afternoon school shooting that's sure to occur...ughhhhhhh!!!! Cry every week.
A phone call btwn 2 partners, Don & Elon.
"How are you doing, Elon?"
"I’m doing well, Don, but I have bad news for you."
"What is the shit?"
"About a billion dollars of Treasury spending has no record, and it’s unknown where it has gone."
"Dude, you know I know all the tricks. Please put it back."
I've never even been into medical dramas, never watched ER, only saw an episode of House, maybe a season of Scrubs. But The Pitt is just so real and good and feels natural.
Waiting until the season is over to finish it though, I find it hard to enjoy one hour at a time.
I’ve seen both but haven’t seen that episode recently. I’d say this one was sadder but the whole show is just… might want to watch it weekly to take the breaks.
That week's was hard. I was once that little girl making a card... Brutal to watch but honestly the only way I can cry anymore is to have fiction wrench it out of me when my guard is down

Other very sad episodes for me are “loves labor lost” ER and “the Red Wedding” Game of Thrones.
Best TV in years.
Took me by surprise.

Definitely worth checking out
