This is insanity. Whether it's CAR-T or TILs, hell even it was penicillin, denying life-giving care to someone who desperately needs it is not what civilized people do. I spent 8 years working at NIH, of which I am proud. But 11 years later I cast a vote with my feet and moved to Canada.

I have learned this probably isn't CAR-T but possibly a different lymphocyte therapy. Point stands. This guy's therapy is lost in the fridge because of DOGE.

Yeah. Tumor infiltrating lymphocytes. And very likely this patient had to have surgery so they could collect the tumor to wgs Rna seq and collect the lymphocytes. This was painful and complicated undoubtedly.
