Thank you.

She's been dying slowly for four years now and we expect her to leave us in the next week or so. I scheduled my Chicago trip in February, thinking she'd be gone by now and I'd need the break from grieving.

This is one of the few times I've allowed myself a bit of levity about it.

It's actually better this year, Guardians/Reds used to be 2 home games for each team during the week. Making it a weekend series makes it easier for people to travel the ~3.5 hours between cities for a family road trip.
