"Gilded Age" sounds nice, superficially.
It's much harder to spin robbery and being a robber. Basically everyone knows and agrees robbery is bad, and they surely aren't Robin Hoods, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, maybe the one exception where people might support robbery.
