Know what would be a possible solution to this handwringing over 'screen time'? Teaching information literacy. Teach kids how to parse truth from fiction, how to recognize and shut down verbal abuse in these games instead of accepting it

Completely agree. Interview was pathetically shallow (olden times nostalgia for a "moral order" that ignores all history) but... where's the left answer to these problems? Parents are desperate for help with screens/kids. Where's the collective action against this individualistic "stoic" bs?

I've had the same thought. Seems like a fairly straightforward push for broader branding / commercial success, though his interview with Coates from a while back seem to reveal a bit of a worldview shift (or perhaps revealed one that was there the whole time?)
