First one is from Yakuza 5, part of a series of side quests featuring a real world Japanese celebrity chef. Supposed to be the idea of better appreciating the food you eat by considering the ingredients that went into it.
The second is from FFXV, part of a Cup Noodles product placment side quest.
Funnily enough, this was exactly me when I first played Zelda Botw. I didn't know you could hold multiple items to put in the food pot, so for a long time I would just cook single items for meals.
They look like a blast, and I think I even have a few titles in my library from various bundles over the years, it's just finding the time to game these days.
This man was in prison for several decades and survived by eating random weeds he found in the exercise yard. He records his ideas by chiseling wooden sculptures. He’s innocent of his crimes except that he totally intended to do them.

The like a dragon games are just so goofy that stuff like this doesn't even stand out in those games (and this is something I love about them)
