My son was on the school bus when the tornado came ripping out of nowhere and got dropped off as the hail started to fall and we ran out of the basement to grab him, my heart is still racing. That was a bad one.

I am so glad your son made it inside to safety. What a terrifying experience! I lived through a tornado. The woods beside our apartment looked like a wheat field blowing in the wind. I had PTSD for years after the experience & had panic attacks every time strong winds came through.

Yesterday during the WI tornados, my son was getting on the bus when the sirens went off. They made all the kids get off the bus and go back into the school for an hour until the storms passed.

Missouri and Kentucky voted for trump. I don't if trump is helping them, but this article says he's into rejecting state diasater aid. I have empathy for residents there who voted for Harris to stop trump, but the trump voters are getting EXACTLY what they voted for!

It's sad that if trump were to rig the system and finagle himself a 3rd term, trends dictate that these same Missouri and Kentucky trump voters, after being hurt physically or losing their homes, would vote for him again in 2028! I can't get why they did it in 2024 AFTER what he did in 2016 & 2021!

Let me tell you about Missouri politics: The state legislature routinely overturns the will of the voters, “blue” voting blocs are broken up through gerrymandering, and it doesn’t really matter since the Democratic Party here exists solely to absorb and neutralize the Left in cities like STL.

I was in StL for a doctor's appointment. It was a beautiful day yesterday! The forecasts were spot on though. We were about halfway home when the tornado ripped through Forest Park. And then when we got home, we had to take shelter because of another tornado
