Is making a movie like mixing a song, where no matter how much you loved it when you wrote it, you end up fuckin sick of it, cos you've heard/seen it so many times?
Kinda like how the cast of Shaun Of The Dead felt about the song Don't Stop Me Now before they started filming, compared to how they felt afterwards. Mighta been their favourite song in the world beforehand, but I'm willing to bet major cash they never wanted to hear it again afterwards
And this is not to say that you don't love your creations, only that once you've spent so much intensive time on them, you need a bit of distance from them before you can appreciate them again
