Trying to RE INVESTIGATE a pardoned Biden as “top priority day one” instead of unfucking themselves with a FELON, F-Elon and Ramawammy NONE OF WHOM CAN OBTAIN THE CLEARANCE necessary to SHOVE DC like they are🤬🤬🤬🤬
Now now, I’m sure the rest of the world will also suffer from trade wars, an eroding of our alliances and a fascist president that wants to be a dictator.
He also has a “concept” of what it takes to be a decent human being and how a so-called “Christian” should lead their lives. Christian values are: Love for God & others;
Compassion;
Forgiveness;
Humility;
Honesty;
Integrity; and
Faithfulness.
How many of these values does Johnson live by?
I thought trump would be dumb enough to fire regardless of how it would impact his ability to get anything done. trump can't see the forest for the trees ultimately Mike will be fired. the question is who will replace him
And that concept seems to be 'attack women's and LGBTQ rights'. We are facilitating a young trans friend's move to study in Canada as the only possible way to protect him.
Mainly, I support the position of 'stay to fight', but trans have the grave risk of government interference in needed GAHT. He has just reached college age so that can be done. I suspect more trans may want to consider that possibility. Immigrating, though, is much easier said than done.
Yep. It's easy for people on the sidelines to say "stay and fight." But the people who are about to be attacked have every right to think "when it's you against the world, bet on the world" and decide to go somewhere safe
I agree. My daughter and SIL had some disagreements over that. I think they are falling on the stay-and-fight side because they are not vulnerable, solidly upper managerial class and relatively affluent. She wants both their daughters out of the US though because of reproductive freedom issues.
Bruh, same. I'm getting my chronically ill wife out of the country as soon as I can, and my family is acting like I'm losing my mind and desperately need to be held in a psychiatric hospital.
Luckily, it would currently be statistically impossible to pass into law any right restrictions by Congress. Republicans would need a supermajority, which they do NOT have. The thing we need to watch out for is where the federal MONEY is going and, more importantly, where it's being withheld.
I hate to say it, but your friend should NOT come to Saskatchewan; our current government is busy outing all 2SLGBTQIA+ school students under 16 yrs, and is solidly transphobic. Great province otherwise...
On the bright side, the local pride parade last June was huge, with more entries than ever before. I suspect that since Premier Moe wants to force them into the open, they're louder and prouder in revenge.
I have several LGBTetc coworkers, and some of them are contemplating whether they want to stay here as adults. I hope they stay; they make life better for all of us.
Medieval historical fiction, eh? Will have to look up your work. But my library's website search function "hears" Tomlin, and asks, did you mean timeline?
Tell me again how computers will make my life easier?
I find it very unusual that a pawn would be promoted to a master, in this game of chess. I find it more peculiar that this pawn, whose only move is one step back, will do much but capture his own King, and jeopardize his own Queen - the make-up, wig and powder drenched, Trump!
Oh, I like this because it's spot on. It fits with Giuliani's "We have lots of theories, we just have to find the evidence." Mike Johnson- "We know intuitively that a lot of illegal immigrants are voting in federal elections, but it's not something that's easily provable. ..."
It's not a good one... and needs to be blessed by the Great Orange Thing and President Mush... but he is already crawling to them to beg forgiveness for being...
The more infighting, incompetence, backstabbing, and general ineptitude we see from them. . .the fewer laws they'll pass.
These twits can barely keep the lights on, at least the parts of the Trump/Project 2025 agenda that require legislation look well beyond their capacity.
Although he pledges to enact Project 2025 in its entirety, proving he is one of the LEAST Christian “Christians” in Congress, who wouldn’t know a true teaching of Jesus if it hit him in the ass.
Didn't Americans have to deal with watching this superb example of Republican clusterfuckness just a couple of years ago?
I'm really sick and tired of these repugnican/magalien repeats.
I dunno....his tweet before the vote seems to be: "I promise we'll bow down to the richest oligarch that wants to slash trillions from social benefits, but still wants his company contracts"
BEST ONE SO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hubby and I laughed out LOUD, @georgetakei.bsky.social ! Thank you so much for that! We must keep our sense of humor right now. Sigh. They can't take that away. Although, they're trying really hard.

That's just part of a multi-front, multi-faceted anti-fascism resistance strategy: Not interrupting their dysfunction and infighting.
is a catastrophe in the making
