It should be, but as long as “nobody voted for Brexit” or “1 in 5 didn’t vote for Brexit” or “it was only an advisory referendum” is the main argument of so called pro europeans we will continue going nowhere

This will mean that pro-EU voices will be platformed. A leader with a coherent message who can defeat Farage will emerge. The public will be educated.

I don’t think Labour would be interested in that. Leavers also well before the referendum had a vocal voice in the Tory parliamentary party. At the Labour side even ardent pro Europeans such as David Lammy are now touting their Brexit Britain credentials.

There seems little hope moving forward that any coherent message is going to materialise any time at all. Quite the opposite.
It seems that the majority of UK pro-Europeans see the EU as a vehicle for transactional UK goodies & not being part of an actual community.

The problem with Mike is that he’s London, Middle Class and won’t appeal to the good people of South Holland & The Deepings or Sunderland Central. The move to reconnect with Europe needs to start outside the south of England.

The main structural problem for pro Europeans is virtually no political presentation in either main party. Leavers always had a vocal support base among Tory MPs, well before 2016. Pro Europeans are shunned by both Tories and Labour now making it difficult to give a coherent voice to the cause.
