But as with their solution to the border in Ireland, do nothing and force Europe to erect a hard border, they just want to make Spain erect a hard border at La Linea and then complain about it

Should Scotland want a different deal with Europe they will need independence or to change the mind of the rulers in WM.

For all that, Europe has got the deal it wanted, it's legally and technically sound, and was always the only realistic solution

So far, the EU side has always been better at anchoring its concessions with the parties concerned, but Hungary might of course try to exact some new concessions.
And as Theresa May experienced, Westminster can reject even a beneficial compromise.

I can’t see that being the case for the other territories which you mention.
As you say we now have closure and only needs the UK to actually honour the deals in place. That is going to be difficult enough.
Now the EU can move on.
