I've lived my first 3/4 of a century. lifelong democrat. I've seen many positive changes but we've still a long way to go before we respect and embrace human rights and fundamental freedoms. Keep working on it!

You’re doing a great job, Governor! I am so proud that you’re my governor!

You're 100% correct. The cruelty is the point. Rinse and repeat.

The public library is even cheaper.

No, calculators weren't invented then. I used a slide rule. But for sure calculators were used for trigonometry and calculus by my kids and grandkids.

Weren’t there similar concerns about the use of calculators?

Why are they wearing masks? If they are who they claim they are, they should be proud to show their faces.

Yes. And the great non-announcement about the trade agreement with Britain was totally upstaged.

Let’s get down to what’s REALLY important!

Good one!

It's pretty darn rare for me to call someone an asshole, but this is one of those times. What an asshole!

Stupid is as stupid does.

We could have been happy instead of fearful.

And most emphatically applies to the trumpster.

This is probably the first time I have ever agreed with MTG. She’s right: we ARE incredibly divided. I have no idea where this will all lead. To me, what she said isn’t a threat, but rather a reflection of this reality.

Does he have any idea of what he’s talking about?

This was THE speech of our time. Circulate it! Disseminate it! Forward it! These are the words that can and should inspire us and nourish us in these terrible times! Thank you Governor Pritzker! www.youtube.com/watch?app=de...

I think I'd put easy access to medical care before electricity.

They've already caved.

Not surprising. He's a socially inept total shitass.

Survivor Benefits, importantly, are for children who have survived the death of a parent. It's not bags of money, but it's enough money that the surviving parent can frugally keep life going for the family.

I know he slept during the mass, but who changed his suit color from blue to black? He was wearing an almost-electric blue suit.
comment in response to post
This is SO important!

Pritzker is doing SUCH a great job. He is a wonderful governor, and I am proud to live in his state.

Does ANYBODY believe this?

Maye he's counting the Penguin Islands?

There's the fact that he's done this but for me the question is WHY has he done this? Is he working for some entity/government/power other than the US? How does it serve him to have access to Signal in his office? What's it all about, Petey?

This is genuinely funny

We could have been so happy.

The downside of this? I had completely forgotten Sarah Palin, and now I have to remember. Dang.

It's not just his memory failing him. There never HAS been such a time.

I saw it called a 'mishap'. Hmmm.

Not 'WAS insanely reckless'! He IS insanely reckless.

I did a made up peer review of your study and found it valid.

This is what I've been saying for more than 50 years. This is my interpretation of the 2nd amendment: everyone can own as many guns as they want AS LONG AS THOSE GUNS WERE AVAILABLE in 1791, when the 2nd amendment was written.

It seems excessively unreasonable that he would be charged with this heinous crime more than once. Six times? WTF?
comment in response to post
It's so horrific I admit: I can't look.

My feelings exactly. During the war in Vietnam, lots of people didn't pay their taxes bc they didn't want their money going to support the war. We're in the same position...but I admit I paid anyway, with deep remorse.

Good luck, Chuck. The Cult isn't going to rise up. We are in new lawless territory. Anything goes.
