Yep, that sums it up. He does eventually make a passing acknowledgement of it, but the damage is already done by then.

Very disappointed in Matt Watson for this, he knew exactly what he was doing. x.com/matwatsoncar...

Seemed a great guy and had his moments, but feel like his playing more would have made our transfer strategy look weaker rather than him look better.

Great result for Ange, typically terrible decision by Spurs.. ironically probably swayed by Ange over performing in his first season. This post Kane Spurs side isn’t a top six side, will a new manager realistically finishing mid/lower table without trophies next season be seen as an improvement?

It’s very Rugby, and I’ve often thought that if you properly mark at throw ins it’s a pretty solid (if not aesthetically pleasing) option.

If you’ve never watched the YouTube series Jet Lag The Game I wholeheartedly recommend it.

It’s a thing.. Roos that are getting chased by dogs/dingoes will lure them into a dam or billabong and drown them like this.

Yeah, you can guarantee if the roles were reversed and Partey had given away the free kick and Rice made the clearance, it wouldn’t be Rice getting the blame.

Well, if we’re talking absolute ideals, I would have had a fit Tomiyasu at LB, but obviously that is fanciful.
comment in response to post
If we’d had White fit I’d have been keen to play MLS in Partey’s spot and keep Merino up front today.
comment in response to post
Rudiger was absolutely always a prick, was never a surprise Chelsea was a good fit for him.
comment in response to post
Hang on, what narrative? Where on earth have you seen anyone say we’re better without any striker than with Kai?
comment in response to post
Looks great apart from the front, but Bezos doesn’t appeal much (after already having to deal with Musk). Would be great from someone like Rivian.
comment in response to post
Interesting to see you say this, he’s fantastic, but I wouldn’t have been worried with White there either. Obviously without either we’re in nightmare territory. I’d be tempted to play Timber on the left against PSG and MLS fill in for Partey in midfield, rather than have to move Merino back.
comment in response to post
I’m just looking forward to them sacking poor Ange just before the final
comment in response to post
I need someone to talk me through how they are putting PSG as favourites in the semi, after we’ve just beaten Madrid home and away, and beat PSG soundly earlier in the season. Yes I’m sure they’re much improved since then, but they also just lost to Villa, so they still can’t be that good.
comment in response to post
Wish we could play them every week tbh
comment in response to post
Hmm yeah, that is fair point re their strength out wide. Shame Tomiyasu is never fit.
comment in response to post
I’d rather play MLS there and start one of our many other left backs
comment in response to post
Not convinced there’s ever a right time to try a dinked penalty to that part of the goal
comment in response to post
To be fair I think I did the same thing around the living room at 6am
comment in response to post
Maybe it’s the 5am start, but I can’t help worrying about us either capitulating in the 2nd leg of this, somehow losing to Emery in the semis, or somehow getting screwed by Barca in another final.

Will it be claimable backdated to today’s announcement? We’ve had several quotes done for a new solar & battery install and we’re about to pull the trigger. If it’s not backdated we should obviously wait, but will the installers still exist if they go the next three months without any business?

Two clean sheets again will do nicely. Can Merino score Henry’s goal though?

Wait.. is the saying not “short term pain for long term gain”? Have I being doing it wrong for decades?

Really loved our previous Octavia RS wagon, but I can’t see us considering another Skoda until they get connected services happening in Australia.

I haven’t looked at stats for a while, but I seem to recall him doing well at Coventry? Something like 40 goals and 15 assists in two season before moving to Portugal.

Obviously the original would never pass any modern safety tests, but I’ve sadly come to the conclusion after nearly 25 years of them getting bigger and bigger that I will never come to terms with these behemoths wearing the Mini badge.

Interesting, aside from anything else I wouldn’t have thought it could get much easier than adding to then Sigenstor modular batteries. Do you have any links I can read about BYD’s system.
comment in response to post
Is the BYD preference just because they are a more established brand than something like Sigenergy?

I just think calling it ‘free charging for a year’ is poor advertising practice as it implies a lot more than 330KWh actually is to new buyers. If they remove that implication and just called it a 330KWh credit with Chargefox then it’s fine.
comment in response to post
I’m not sure where you are, but in inner Sydney there are now a lot of street parked EVs, and I would imagine those are the sort of people you are targeting with a line like “free charging for a year”.
comment in response to post
Sure, but with that wording they are going to be disappointing a lot of new EV buyers who don’t have home charging facilities and discover just how little charging is actually included in their “free year”.
comment in response to post
On what planet is 330kwh going to cover anyone for a year? We used over 7 times that last year and we don’t drive a lot.
comment in response to post
To be fair, I don’t think anyone has ever bought any G Wagon because it represented good value.
comment in response to post
100kW max charge speed is a bit disappointing in 2025, but is there a charge curve somewhere? I’d be okay with that if it manages to maintain close to max all the way to 80%.

Want to put a bet on next scorer, who else would you have subbed??
comment in response to post
I missed the first half, and based on how this half has started I’m really struggling to understand what was going on with the halftime fretting!
comment in response to post
So uh.. I missed the first half, but based on how this half started I’m struggling to figure out why people were fretting at 3-1

I mean, we definitely had a choice with one of them, given we have at least 4 others who also can play his position available on the bench.

Surprised there’s only two in the country.. small enough you could probably check it as oversized luggage.
