Good article, but two notes, 1) the Department of Education is abbreviated to "ED" because Energy is "DOE" and 2) ED's RIF was excluded from Judge Illston's order, see footnote 4.

Judge Reyes writes a 77 page decision explaining why the trans military ban would violate the Constitution. SCOTUS: here's an unsigned, unreasoned order allowing the ban to go into effect. Maybe one day we'll explain why, but we don't have to.
