its critical right now to keep reasserting our actual values so that we don’t forget that the baseline of humanity we are currently fighting for isn’t the actual end goal i’m not fighting for a world where people don’t get snatched up by ICE. i’m fighting for a world with no borders.

ICE can enter anyone’s home, and abduct and deport them to a foreign prison indefinitely because the DOJ says they can ignore the 4th, 5th and 15th amendments. If there’s no due process or protections against illegal search and seizures, none of us are safe.

Transphobia is a luxury belief, and my theory is that much of the appeal for a certain set of cis women is that they get to be the oppressor like cis men oppress them. They don't need to overthrow the patriarchy because they've got their own little oppression starter kit.

I just landed in San Salvador a little while ago, and I look forward to meeting with the team at the U.S. embassy to discuss the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia. I also hope to meet with Salvadoran officials and with Kilmar himself. He was illegally abducted and needs to come home.
