They can live longer in tissues, with inflammation prolonging it more. Not clear how much thag it but id says days.
Still i agree with you Ying. Senescence is trendy, so people try to apply it freely, but I don't think its accurate or helpful here

It reminds me of the eLife debate. When it moved to the new system the old generation sometimes hated because without a reject or approve how would they know it was good work.
Well there is a clear example showing why the new system was exciting, move beyond the binary and asses it yourself.
