That's so cool. I wish Venturestar had continued. Could you tell me about the technical or other challenges that led to its cancellation, besides market demand?

Absolutely, like how Atlas used isogrid due to less advanced FEA tools, while Vulcan’s barrels use orthogrid. Question: what do you think about aerospike engines? Will they go mainstream anytime soon?

Beautiful capture! It’s incredible how advanced these vehicles are, yet it feels like we’re still in the Stone Age for rocket technology. I’m excited about what the future holds. What are your thoughts, Tory?

Haha, yeah. I honestly can't wait for this one. Atlas is a majestic rocket.

Congratulations again, Tory! By the way, any chance you could share some more details about the updates made to GEM63XL's nozzle?

It’s always reassuring to launch hardware that has undergone rigorous testing beforehand.

What’s the grain geometry? Or did I just ask one of those “if I tell you, I’d have to kill you” type of questions?

There shouldn’t be.

Not an illusion. It is indeed shorter. It holds approximately 85K pounds of propellant, compared to the 125K pounds of the HEO Centaur V.

Good question. I don’t think it’s an STA but let’s see what Tory has to say.

For anyone wondering, the HEO Centaur V has a 125k propellant load in pounds, and the LEO Centaur V has an 85k propellant load in pounds.

Very true, and I've noticed people nowadays want to know the real deal, not some fabricated corporate nonsense.

Can’t be, the diameters don’t match, plus it’s too beefy to be a Centaur.

Frankly, if we encountered aliens, it'd be a relief to many. At least we'd know we're not the only oddballs out here.
