I would far rather NOT have a race, and everyone be ok. Than to have a race and have accidents because of track conditions that everyone knew about beforehand, personally. The right call was made.

Yeah, the race bike version is 168kg when you take all the excess bits off. But, I imagine in 5 years or so as battery tech advances that we will see MotoE (if it's not been dropped in favour of Baggers) will be lighter and able to do more laps.

It never ceases to dumbfound me that moto3 teams wait and wait and wait, then send out their riders with not enough time to complete an out lap before their last run. You'd think they would learn! Apparently not.
