Because they're afraid of fascists and they just pretend that they are afraid of us. People get really brave and proudy depending on which side of the guns they're on

"Fall in line, or I'll accuse you of telling me to fall in line and imply that you're a murderer of some kind" Doesn't sound as smart as you think. I'm not scolding. I'm having this out. That's my right.

Not necessarily. Lots of groups do this as a defense or natural consequence of some oppression or another. These are the ones who are out grouped and dehumanized. But the other group doesn't see it that way so they have to talk about it in their own special place and they describe shared experiences

That's how humans communicate about other humans not in their group

All right fine, sorry to be an ass. The point of this with me is not to make everyone stop using the word liberal in the common sense I just want to have a broader conversation about those Dems siding with Republicans and using both our cultural lexicons against one another feeding us the soundbites

Silly straw man. If you can find where I said anything like that, go ahead and quote post it. You're no leftist. You don't even understand the term. You're a stock bro. A DNC bro. An authoritarian. A bully with feeble words

Lies and slander. Making up your own straw man. The stock market should be abolished. You can't be blamed for doing all that you could to succeed in a broken system. You can be blamed however for defending that system so doggedly. For shouting down anyone who dares to speak for change. For your hate
comment in response to post
Slander and lies. I'd sue too after what happened. You blame him for the consensus you refuse to give. I would not be proud. The divide comes about because he is moving forward and you are standing still

Republicans idolize abusers and the Democrats did everything they could to be just like them. New York said no. Democrats can't claim this win when so many of them spent so much money propping up Cuomo and dragging @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social in the media. Now they will threaten to withhold support
comment in response to post
Well now they've forced our hand. We have to be obnoxiously in everyone's face like they always say they are. If the schools can't teach it we're going to have to teach random people in the grocery store. You don't need a certificate to tell a random child that queer people exist and that it's ok to
comment in response to post
We've lost too many like her. I am glad we have her in your spirit
comment in response to post
Yes, but they did this while standing still. They just used to be able to pretend (and tell themselves) they weren't like Republicans by opposing them on social issues like gay marriage. They have always opposed economic equality, they're just now scared to put a rainbow flag on it. We must educate.
comment in response to post
This is to destroy public schools and set up private religious ones. In either case, let's not wait for the schools. Let's educate everyone ourselves. Let's get really obnoxious and throw it in their face like they always say we do. Interfere with their religious development in the grocery isle ynot

No. It is to assert that voting for a socialist candidate is a progressive thing to do. It is unliberal, in that it is a step away from capitalism. This is good. People should reflect on why this candidate speaks to them. But if you're just here to put words in people's mouth and be #snark go off ig

I don't blame Paul I blame the billion dollar psyop that puts this stuff out there for people to unwittingly pick up. Maga and Blue Maga need liberals to be afraid of the left instead of them. And for the left to be nasty to liberals instead of putting out facts and education
comment in response to post
Fair. I would not hold my breath. I'm not saying I want to marry a liberal or that we should love the fact that someone believes in capitalism. I'm saying we have to look at the potential to move people over. I won't fight and bicker with liberals but I will shut down nonsense and slander.
comment in response to post
Democratic party could be socialist if we got very serious about primaries...

I will like them as soon as they stop being a dick about it. Seriously these people who come right out in their profile and say f Maga but f Bernie & f people who criticize Dems. That's not even liberalism. That's blue authoritarian. The Pepsi of tyranny. And the gaslighting, reverse victim/offender
comment in response to post
Not what we're talking about. We're talking about the people who are identifiably progressive by their actions, their votes. We're talking about people who use the term liberal to liberally, or who cling to it out of false attachment. It's just a label. One that has outgrown its usefulness for many.
comment in response to post
No sir, it is inclusivity. It is a welcome home. It is an education in how we talk about these things. I used to call myself a liberal before I learned the difference. I examined myself and found I do not fit that description. Thousands of people voting socialist will realize it too.
comment in response to post
All Republican politicians yes. Lots of democratic politicians too by that metric. There are definitely some registered Republicans who simply love Capital and probably don't think the rules apply to them and maybe they're racist but they lean less authoritarian, sort of live and let live. Liberals.
