Given that the code literally uses `children` in exactly one of two branches, it seems like the framework _should_ be able to be smarter about reconciling, if only the render function wasn't a black box... The programmer already expressed everything they should have to. 🤔

Check out pol.is for something more akin to what I'm thinking. It's open source. Not sure yet how we convince "normal people" to separate the trivialities of memes and slutty dance videos from real issues that require collaboration and consensus, not virality/addiction/ragebait.

Thanks for your thoughts. IMO Reddit is one of the worst due to brigading and arbitrary editorialism on innocuously named subreddits like "worldnews" (just like the problem of fake reviews on Amazon) Reveddit covers the bulk of the issue: www.reveddit.com
