I've lost count of how many times I've seen 'Wicked' on stage since it opened & now I love the film version too. Wish Pt 2 was out already. Take me back to Oz!! At least their fascists are fictional ๐คท

Enjoyed 'Last Christmas', even if Clara ageing/it was all a dream! felt a bit clichรฉ. I was so happy to find out Jenna Coleman wasn't leaving after all. I know the Capaldi & Coleman era wasn't everyone's cup of TARDIS tea, but I loved their dynamic & they're both strong actors. Merits a rewatch!

Purple+sparkles! That might be my kindred scarf ๐งฃ๐I'm in awe of your patience with knitting, I never could get the hang of casting on/not dropping stitches as a child.

My favourite of all Gillian Anderson's work. She didn't play Blanche, she dissolved into the character's madness in real time. Blanche being led off stage at the end was haunting. I've seen a lot of theatre over the yrs, West End, Broadway etc but this #YoungVic production of Streetcar was ๐ notch.

I've seen 'Wicked' on stage a *lot*, never could replace the chemistry of the Orig cast IMHO, expected to be meh about the film. But it improved on the stage show. 20+ yrs later & messages about inclusion, diversity and the danger of tyrannical leaders have never felt more needed (sadly)หห๐ขึดเป๐+๐หห๐ขึดเป

I retreated from SM even earlier. When I first landed here in the great blue yonder, took a sec for me to remember how to interact with folk online who weren't being hateful and/or abusive. Hope the good vibes last โฎ๏ธ๐บ

Relatable, love winter. I'm also a night owl who loves the silence & calm of the small hours so I can be creative with no interruptions โ๏ฝกยฐโฉโพโ๏ฝกยฐโฉ

He's already unpopular but it's like Starmer wants to resign. What kind of 'socialist' gvt would choose the Daily Heil to write an opinion piece on benefits? Of course they were going to use it to demonise all benefit claimants, 97% of whom are not fraudsters. Punching down at the cruellest level.

Incredibly cool job! ๐from Cambridge. Also, your dogs are adorable, sending them๐ฅ treats (sorry to the floofs, they are only the virtual kind)

Both Tory & Labour gvts threw money at similar schemes before. Blair went gaga for 'New Deal.' Boils down to bullying long term sick people into 'jobs' they can't cope with. With no suitable recruits, employers drop out. Here we go again! Labour become more I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-Tory! every day.

Long time fan of the stage version, did not think I could enjoy a Glinda/Elphaba pairing as much as Chenoweth/Menzel, who I was lucky enough to see on Broadway. Really didn't expect to watch the credits of the movie thinking "when am I free to see this again?" ๐๐๐

Relatable! Apple TV cancellation was not fun. Apple podcasts were also a nightmare to try & 'unsubscribe' from.

TY! I've worked in SM in the past. Some people don't see it as "work" but keeping up with content/replies/diff sites is a LOT.

You do A House Through Time, that's so good! Historical progs are the only type of 'reality' TV I will go near. It's so chill & refreshing here after the-toxic-place. Following!

I had the same problem when I changed my handle (not a custom one.) What worked for me was changing back to the original handle from when I signed up, saving, logging out. Logged back in & changed my handle a 2nd time - saved - logged out/logged back in. Good luck & welcome here!

I know, right? 'Interacting with actual humans' part should NOT feel this strange considering these are 'social' media sites. It's only by migrating over here that I realised why I didn't interact in the-toxic-place for so long ๐คทโโ๏ธ Good riddance to X(it)!

LGBTQ+ pagan here, would love to follow likeminded peeps, just migrated this fandom account. Really not missing the f*cist content or the bots on X. Also love books, birkenstocks & cats if you're OK with that (I'm happily living up to lesbo clichรฉs๐

I want to believe this ๐ but can't see it. Poundshop Trump/Boris Johnson let the 'bodies pile high' during Covid. Instead of consequences, he gets paid millions for doing speaking engagements, peddling his 'book' & continuing to have kids he can't keep track of.

I've just migrated too - this is just a GA fan account, not a personal one, but I really can't hack the nastiness that is X anymore. Hoping things will be better here (& still keep me in the fandom loop lol) Happy to see you over here!
