We used it for Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Shenandoah, Guadalupe Mountain, Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands, Bandolier, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands. (I have two sons 😊)

We were also told by admin that under no circumstances should we give the final to our sophomores and juniors on the same day as the seniors… because, let’s be completely flexible with the teachers, we were not involved in the screw up at all 😡 #bfc530

That’s a relief!

End of the year stuff for my own children! District middle school track championships next week for my older son and the elementary musical tonight with my younger son. #bfc530

Kids can’t go because they can’t afford it? That’s terrible 😢!

We are totally disconnected from the purpose of education, it has been a slow process but in the last few years it has accelerated. Politically we used to care about rigor and learning in the US, both parties have now abandoned that. AI is just another nail in the coffin of education for learning

This 💯. I teach science and I know I don’t do enough writing but it takes me so long to grade a paper on top of everything else I’m doing. Now there is another layer that I’m questioning all the work that is submitted, so draining. #bfc530

We need professional distance so badly in my district, so many inappropriate relationships… #bfc530

I wouldn’t mind full year school or at least something closer to what they do in the UK, terms with 2 week breaks between and an extended summer break (4 weeks). I also wouldn’t mind a 4 day week but I’m not sure it would be better for learning. #bfc530

We also have bus issues, our elementary schools run on staggered starts early ones start at 8:15 and late ones start at 9:15. #bfc530

School start time. School starts at 7:25. I’m an anxious person, I like to get there at least a 1/2 hour early. I end up getting up at 5:20am. I have trouble falling asleep before 10 so by Friday I always feel so wiped. Even if we moved the start to 8 I know I’d feel better #bfc530

I like them because in my experience almost every teacher in the building is recognized #bfc530

I agree, at other schools in our district the PTO did much of the planning but admin is involved. Our principal no longer meets in person with our PTO he just sends a video, maybe why nothing is planned? That’s on admin, yes parents are less involved but that isn’t an excuse to give up #bfc530

I get that the food can be too much but I do appreciate that your admin went to the trouble to figure out what they were going to do, although it lacks creativity! #bfc530

At least they went so far as to plan something! When we found out there was nothing being done at our building a few of us got to work. I printed out cards for Ss to write thank you notes and put them in mailboxes. Today Ss will fill them out and my club will return to teachers tomorrow. #bfc530

We owe them something better than that.

I read brain rules for baby when I was pregnant with my first son and I completely forgot about it until you mentioned this! Thanks! #bfc530
