Can't see anyone has yet suggested Massive Attack (with Shara Nelson) Unfinished Sympathy, or the Verve's similar sounding Bittersweet Symphony. The videos for both featuring the singer walking around the block (one of them a bit carelessly).

What a lovely region it is.

Funny one, wasn't it? But it was all new material...

Sorry if the link didn't open. Radio Clyde broadcast of the New Year's Dance gig December 81. Kenny's cowbells to the fore!

Not an expert! But a company I work with uses Box. It seems to work well enough in terms of getting material to me but I haven't personally used it to send stuff the other way.

Look for more competent analysis than from this semi-retired employment lawyer. Less favourable treatment on grounds of protected characteristic can prob be shown. The big Q may be around status of X as service provider under this legislation - onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10....

He didn't recognise that incoherence when praising the speech, so...?

Though of course it doesn't stop him repeating the lies in the subsequent press conference.

Well spotted!

Yes, quite similar to here. Not a huge amount of rain. Just unremitting grey, and dark grey at that.

That sounds wonderful. Whereas the word for the day in Perthshire, for the umpteenth time this month, is "dreich".

Sadly prejudice has rotted those brains to get to this point.

The production didn't do it for me. Odd, as I thought so much else Steve Lillywhite produced was brilliant. I thought the whole mix was "mushy" - ill-defined - with the bass pushed right back (obviously Waterfront excepted) when it was right up front on all their earlier albums.

Aileen is unquestionably the better person to help with your further questions!

No, still to be worked through. And no problem at all.

Can vouch for this. Not only easy to do in a Dutch Oven or such like, but it is genuinely good bread.

I was momentarily worried to see the Local Hero rererence but, on reading that bit, I was relieved to see, as with so much else, he plainly didn't understand the film.

They're almost subterranean now.

I doubt she'll be kicked out by this iteration of the Conservative Party. Is she any worse than Jenrick et al?

Very consistent over maybe 10 visits over 6 or 7 years!

PS, and on a completely different subject, we were back at the Partick Duck Club just before Christmas which we have visited several times since you first recommended it years ago. Still very good!

I've completely given up on her and am close to doing so for much BBC political coverage I'm afraid.

But, of course, she won't.

Edinburgh looks wonderful this time of year. Do you know Cafe St Honore just around the corner from the Thistle Street bar? Enjoyed a meal there a couple of months back and look forward to going again.

Lots of Johnny Cash references but I haven't spotted this one being mention. It's his frail voice and knowing the stage of his life when he recorded it that I think make it quite special. Also love his take on the Mode's Personal Jesus.

Brilliant! Speaking of which I saw Derek Forbes last night - fantastic bass player.

Well deserved too. It's a great book and I thought the documentary did a good job. Off to see Derek Forbes in Dundee tonight!

No Hamish Hawk though. That's a big miss.
