Last bit of Spellbound vis-dev I did: more interiors, but this time of a different space!

Since it's been hot all week, here's a #ThrowbackThursday to one of my personal favourite beach paintings - I just love the contrast of the dark rocks against the light sand!Β Thanks for looking!! πŸ₯°

Process video from last week's painting - watch me go crazy with the textures! πŸ€ͺπŸ–ŒοΈ youtube.com/watch?v=6mfh...

Ever been to the Getty? If not, now's a great time of year to visit! β˜€οΈ Here's a #ThrowbackThursday to a study I did after a company trip to the Getty at one of my previous jobs - I had a lot of fun painting the subtle colour variation on the bricks πŸ₯° Thanks for looking! ❀️

The OCs are finally back!! 🀩 Not gonna lie, I think this one might be my new favourite! πŸ₯° Had a lot of fun painting all the grungy texture - thanks for looking, and stay tuned for the process video next week! 😁✌️

can't wait to play the William Afton dating sim!

#ThrowbackThursday to a quick, high-key study of the Golden Gate Bridge! πŸŒ‰ Inspired by a lovely photo from @briscoepark.bsky.social - drop them a follow if you're not already! Thanks for looking and catch the process video here: youtu.be/XzqnGWUJ7wM

More early Spellbound vis-dev: this time, the interior of what I shared a few weeks ago! The furniture might've been my favourite assignment on the project - I just love being given free-reign to give character to otherwise mundane objects like chairs or tables!

#ThrowbackThursday a comfy little facade study! πŸ’Œ Thanks for looking, and catch the process video here: youtu.be/gRCssHjI2XU

Process video from last week's simple little graphic study! πŸ₯° My favourite part was the blue-green gradient for the water and figuring out how to elegantly imply the waves - what's yours? 🌊 Thanks for watching!

#ThrowbackThursday to a stylized study based on a @ravennatran.bsky.social photo! Catch the process video here and thanks for looking: youtu.be/EwrqNDGF0Pk?...

Happy Earth Day (as well as a belated Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates) - now, who's ready to go to the beach? 🌊 Thanks for looking, and catch the process video next week! πŸ’–

#ThrowbackThursday to this fastΒ  and loose study! πŸ–ŒοΈπŸ  Thanks for looking and you can catch the process video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YEA...

Taking a short break from Carol and share some of my own early Spellbound vis-dev! I joined the team in 2019, so needless to say, a LOT changed in the 4 years since I left in 2020. 🧡

#ThrowbackThursday to this extra texture-y study!

Process video from last week's study - pretty standard process: design straight-on, then Free Transform into perspective! Thanks for watching!

#ThrowbackThursday to this painting I did for the @animationguild.bsky.social calendar cover a few years back - I still love how it turned out! You can catch the link to the process video here: youtu.be/cJfEacFP7IQ

Just a quick study of a photo that I really, really liked the lighting on! Thanks for looking, and stay tuned for the process video next week!

#ThrowbackThursday to these two paintings of the same alley in two different styles: which is your favourite? Inspired by a photo from @geofficino.bsky.social - you can catch both process videos here: youtu.be/DugL4SqJGLc youtu.be/jFLfvz6USVM

You saw it here first, folks: a rare Carol and the End of the World pre-vis painting that isn't actually in the show! 🀯 This was an earlier version of the Kroger in episode 1, which got more attention in terms of design/paint than you might expect.

Umbert and Misterman are BACK! We’re launching a Kickstarter MARCH 31 to fund UMBERT ACTUALLY!, a new series of informative shorts featuring your favorite pink and green husbands! You can wishlist the Kickstarter RIGHT NOW before it launches on MARCH 31! www.kickstarter.com/projects/jel...

#ThrowbackThursday to this fast 'n' loose study - it was a nice change of pace from my usual saturated palette to something more subtle and muted. 😊 Feels appropriate for how rainy it's been in LA these past few weeks! β˜” Catch the process video here: youtu.be/HD0M5wfzi24
