Both those senators said we agree with the destination, not the path.

Howard: We are finding the easiest target. A person cannot understand what a person goes through until they go through it. Do we subject the women making the most difficult decision to capital punishment. We need to show love to everyone here without threat.

Sen. Gollihare to Deevers: I don’t see Christ in ur bill. This bill does not address what you want to address. Why not go after companies? This does nothing but hurt women.

Then Deevers followed up that the only way to get an abortion in Oklahoma is through backdoor abortion. Jett praises Deevers for his bravery. #Oklahoma #Abortion #ReproductiveRights

Questions I think should’ve been asked & answered: Did anyone ask what the state election board thought? Will poll carry have an effect for polls held at schools? What if a church, nursing home, or muni bldg says, “We will not allow firearms in our building.”? Will that lead to more sites closing?

To cover being weird, I said I think we can learn a lot about people by the books they read. She agreed. But I am thinking how lucky I am to have a friend who didn’t balk at the weirdness, but just accepted it as normal.

I understood it as if they said it was a Nazi Salute they’d get sued, so they put it out there in a way that got the point across. We all know what it was, just like we all know that the Administration didn’t make a mistake. “Go home” button was supposed to be “Go to Home Page.” Racist gaslighting

I understood PBS to have called it out.

I stepped down, and now our local group is inactive again. The new chair was doing all she could to get people to come but they weren’t coming and it was disappointing for candidates to come and not have someone to speak to. Democrats are either not voting or changing parties.

I do agree, and yet we can’t support Democrats to run local races without going into debt. In 2021-2022 our county chair was inactive and I, who was Independent at the time but doing the work was asked to join the party and be chair. I did.

My husband said the same thing and then the news reported many people bought now and will pay later. Maybe I am a fool for not doing that with Trump promising a 25% tariff on Mexico and Canada.

“By Any Other Name” @jodipicoult.bsky.social She makes a case that Shakespeare wasn’t as prolific of a playwright, & instead many of his works was by a courtesan/Jewish wife Emilia Bassano.Emilia’s tale is woven through Melina Green who’s her descendent & playwright & society hasn’t progressed much

when my son was in the middle grades we read this as a family and really helped deepen our conversations about people’s lived experiences. We assume that sharing the same space with others that they experience the same realities as us, and just how wrong that is.
