We decided it was too lumpy for sand and settled on it being nerds

You didn't feel the need to draw the host channeling Dorien Green from Birds of a feather?

About to get very bruised knees going on a school caving trip

I'm not so sure, it's still a specific example, when the answer is one.

Thank you for sharing, I might show them that next week!

I gave in, and got my classroom a pet rock. With googly eyes. We called him Sylvester.

Seems like it might help, but can I suggest the missing number rectangles are not the same colour as the triangles.

We do iGCSE, so have to teach differentiation all students 😱. I insisted on at least looking at graphs with my set 4, but used this to cut corners. (You can change the function) www.desmos.com/calculator/7...

I keep forgetting about that site, thank you!

I really liked it, the threads *do* come together. I felt the payoff was worth it (although still had some questions). However I was already enjoying a couple of the storylines. If you don't like any of them, it's not worth it.

If you have access to tech, I like to let them play with this.... www.transum.org/maths/activi...

I think so. Kids at work often share info about their neuro divergent status, and treatment, with others quite freely.

I was wondering about the "certain age" myself. Were the people who asked older? I feel that there used to be a stigma, but it's actually becoming so talked about that younger people tend to be more open about it

Curious about the complaints. Was it seats being left up or something else

Gah

No one answer...for some saucy fun, the Fourth Wing books are fast paced with great dragons; for something a bit different, I enjoyed Burn by Patrick Ness and Highfire by Eoin Colder.

Almost certainly not, if I were assessing on results rather than just watching them in action. I liked the sheet as it was simple enough with progression, but agree that a formal assessment shouldn't have symmetrical shapes.

I used a hexagonal prism smarties tube in #mathstoday as we were introducing 3D shapes. They were all orange. Might skew your data😆

I'm just jealous that you've finished. I'm going to be close to the wire!

Love this one, some great arguments

I class myself as older, but have worked with different tech over time. My last school initially had computers on podiums so staff couldn't sit to teach, which wasn't an issue but then I got a work iPad so sat more. Now back to standing at my new school.

These seem a little clearer than the ones on DFM, nice style.

The last time I had a class doing this, one student drew out the powers of 11 pattern that I hadn't thought about before. I may have had a 💡moment myself

Wasn't he in The Time Travelers Wife? That has to count as proper 'cos the book is fab

Do you need a paid account to link to other people? I tried to sign up for the free bit yesterday and was somewhat underwhelmed

Love your summaries, and thank you for sharing the key revision fact sheets, I've just sent a copy to my son!

Sorry, I meant if the question had multiples of 3, or, multiples of 6 instead of multiples of 24. I realise multiples of 3 would be better, but I think the other would work too.
comment in response to post
Or multiples of 6. Makes more sense than an empty set being in use
