Have to agree Re: the switch back to transactional communication. And of course there’s a vibrant community of science communicators out there who deeply understand the importance of relational communication (including you of course), but still feels like an up hill struggle

Also interesting to see how this is playing out, running the gamut of being played down as "just trolling" (although I'm not sure how the "just" is justified here) to being heralded as anti-democratic bullying. Suspect the changes in dynamics, influence & power are more profound than many realize

I think we have the interfaces between practical tech and how we use it all wrong -- tactile knobs and switches make far more sense as they put intuitive control back in the hands of the user. Written from a position of passionate hate of digital interfaces and menus!!
