Is it? Not that either trimet or ctran are doing true BRT ( Hi CDMX) but I think ctran implementation of rapid buses is very good, trimet/metro struggle to make things materialize (lack of funding in one of the highest net taxed cities 🤦‍♂️) which makes their opportunity cost astronomical.

What vision? He’s just stringing together buzzwords. High-speed rail talk makes no sense locally without intercity infrastructure. Light rail hasn’t cut car use and is costly. Real vision will be to remove car lanes, protect bike lanes and build out BRT—fast, aggressive, effective.
