You think it could be the racism not being a good fit for all the black players?

Well, they also adjusted their player protection strategy to do away with the never ending player pressing and sprinting back to defend by forwards. They treat salah like Messi for example.

I guess we should have given obi martin the pay rise he needed.

Staying in the top 4 is the goal and will be a fight. I don’t think we can quite pivot to feeling any points are a bonus.

This year it doesn’t seem like the first part of your statement is true. Rarely have our back 4 been collectively at the level they reached last season. We give up 1-2 goal opportunities and we concede.

On a negative note think of how the lack of rotation is going to tee up guys like Rice next for hamstring or other muscle injuries. We’re running the gas tank to empty on these guys’ legs year after year.

It’s easy for us to point out mistakes with the result in the mirror. But to me it seemed off to sit MLS when it can be argued he has been our best player. And another match where Cala looked like a runway model but struggled to defend (on the cross) and was beat for pace regularly once more.

What do you estimate is Martinellis € value in the summer if we have to move him out to increase our purchasing power ?

Actually do change. Often times that lady has her little daughter in that thing. That’s not safe.

Well. The difference is we dont have a striker who projects to be ready to graduate to the academy to the first team. And we currently don’t have an out and out striker at all in the first squad. Neto was another winger when we have wingers.

To be honest, given the chaos happening now with Trump and fascism - really needed a nice release like this.

I wonder if this is also to see how the man city ruling plays out before making a decision.

Well to me, it only doesn’t help us if it means it is mutually exclusive toward signing someone else (like Tel) now. Plus, destabilizing Villa a bit doesn’t hurt us.

Maybe that’s the point. Maybe it’s to unsettle them a bit and drive down the price for the summer by making it public that Watkins is wanted. Maybe it helps Ollie push a bit to be let go in the summer if he’s a good soldier until then.

What can we do to knock down the empty mall in downtown sf to build them a stadium here!

Brother he’s 17. His body and physical skill set is going to change a lot in the next few years and that will also impact his positional options. I’m just grateful he’s so technically and physically talented already. I just want him to stay healthy.

I agree. I also felt it was a bit too long.

Yeah I hear you. I guess that’s why the oligarchy wins. Everyone justifies just enough to have their chance at peace of mind. Oh well. Back to the transfer market.

You know what’s interesting to me. Our owners are huge trump supporters. Are we just choosing to ignore that out of convenience? Or how are we doing our own gymnastics to say they’re the fine trump supporters?

We have a new physio. And it could be accumulated wear and tear on the same core of players who can’t be rested because the drop off in quality to the backups is too steep. That is my suggestion. Because I think poor squad planning and hit or miss transfers have hurt us some. Pun intended.

Just my two cents. When will we start evaluating whether our squad management and training is driving some of the injury problems?

Could our injuries be an outcome of our nutrition and fitness programs, demands on players to do two jobs, or our previous physio leaving? If this was an investment portfolio all of these one offs would be analyzed as a whole to find a cause. #arsecastextra @gunnerblog.bsky.social @arseblog.com

Why is nobody asking if all the injuries are an outcome of our nutrition and fitness programs, demands on players to do two jobs, or our previous physio leaving? If this was an investment portfolio all of these one offs would be assessed as not a coincidence.

Maybe we’re asking the right wings to do too much defensively. And running guys into the ground.

When I first saw the lineup I kind of thought he might play the Ode role and Rice would still be at 6. His age has really caught up to him when he’s holding the ball or receiving in our half under pressure.

Well. I don’t get it. I genuinely am not trying to be rude or anything. But seems you’re trying to somehow belittle me. I as a fellow fan and appreciator of your work hope you’re okay and that you have a chill night. It’s the holidays and I bet you have family and friends who love you. Thanks.

So true. But maybe it’s more so about Edu and the clubs willingness to flex or not on some purchase prices. Which I think is still above Arteta’s authority.

What a crazy thing college football has become. Unreal turn of events if this proves true. It feels like the sport has changed so much so fast, that there has to be some additional rule changes, like limiting transfer windows.

Huh? I asked a question to give me perspective on how much good costs these days in the market. You cleared that up for me. I’m not sure what I did to offend you but I hope you are alright.

Well to me the biggest thing was missing the goal when Rice put in that beautiful set piece cross. I accept your apology though and thanks.
