Nice. Even in the UK we know Jim Jordan is a complete tool. In fact his reputation for being a tool is probably global.

He's a gobby little shite.

Yep. You're absolutely right about dogs. The world is a better place with them in it.

The jazz church is a broad one. Try the wonderful Bill Evans. Chet Baker too. youtu.be/dH3GSrCmzC8?...

It's grass vetchling and grows best in neutral soil types so is often seen in neutral hay meadows (what's left of them) in the Sussex weald. One of my favourites.

Nah...just ends with a 't'.

Don't stop there. When this shit is over, and one day it will be, stick the fuckers in prison. And Trump, Hegseth, Bondi, Miller, and all the other enablers.

I did. A confidence thing probably. Left school having scraped two o-levels. Twenty years later I had a BSc, MSc, and a PhD, the latter from a university consistently in the world's top ten.

Any university that isn't supporting Harvard has zero integrity.

Bravo. Not often Piers Morgan keeps his fucking trap shut.

Will this be a Trump v Lettuce moment?

As long as they share the same prejudices everything is fine.

I'll freely admit that my Jack Russell, Biscuit, was one of the best things that ever happened to me but they can be a bit 'all hands on deck' sometimes. My partner has a miniature long-haired dachshund, Bugsy, and he's a terrific little chap. Whatever dog you get, it'll be fab, they're wonderful.

It's pathetic. These guys are total losers with a weird inferiority complex.

I even learned a little bit about protein folding. Protein folding. It had nothing to do with my research which was former climates and environment determined from microscope algae incorporated into lake sediments.

Absolutely. I completed my PhD about 20 years ago, so in the day when volumes of older journals and books still adorned the shelves of libraries at UCL and the University of Sussex. Lots of weird and interesting stuff caught my eye while trying to make sense of what I was actually meant to be doing.

Looks like the old Shoreham cement works.

Yes to higher taxes - not just for defence but for health, infrastructure etc. Never been to prison so can't comment. I like both pubs and cafés.

Indeed. Probably informed them just before kick off. Any sooner would have been madness - Trump administration not to be trusted an inch.

Good. This calls for an afternoon pint.

Indeed. But with Frimpong and hopefully Wirtz on board for the red next season it's only going to get better for the reds. Salah and VVD around for another two years...there's lots to look forward to. And a new adidas kit.

Absolutely. LFC would have had both Inter and Barca as both their defences are woeful. Liverpool and PSG are the best two sides in Europe, would have been a hell of a final and could have gone either way.
comment in response to post
Well done PSG. Shame they met LFC so early, they were the best two teams in the competition and that would have been a hell of a final.

Absolutely. If you have just finished a PhD in oh palaeolimnology perhaps at UCL why would you now look for postdoc work in the US? I wouldn't. Lots of great options in Canada and the EU.

All that money, all the good he could do yet spends his life in a grubby k-hole talking bollocks. What a fucking loser.

Well he should put on a cape and swing into action

Au contraire, he now has plenty of time to go fast catamaran racing.

Exactly. Blame the foreigner rather than the super-rich who have been scamming us for ages and now want more tax cuts to fill their coffers. It's the same in the UK with the deranged Brexit crowd. Wankers the lot of them.

Majored in Comms? What did they teach her? Reject the evidence of her eyes and ears? Regardless, she's a horrible woman.

Piers Morgan is a narcissistic wanker. Signed, everyone in England.

We were in Ghent last September (wonderful city) the historic centre is virtually traffic-free and there are limited traffic areas surrounding that - it all makes for a calm and relaxed atmosphere and no 'war on motorists' nonsense either.

Exactly. Who the hell cares what Stanley Johnson thinks of anything. But I suppose he was in some celebrity programme so there is that.

His presidency is one big psychotic episode.

Guffaw. Perfect. The DUP and Vance are a perfect combination: self-serving idiots, never knowingly right about anything.

He's a fool. His insecurity is off the scale.

Such an easy thing to do. So much time and effort being spent on BNG and they can't mandate a single brick in a newly built house? Thankfully some developers do it anyway.

That's why he'd never try it on with Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State, LSU, etc and why it's important that those institutions stand with Harvard.

"Do your own research..."🙄

Of course. He surrounds himself with clueless lickspittles so he feels like the clever one. Meanwhile anyone with any experience and/or expertise is shown the door as they might show him up for the idiot he really is.

The pathetic fuckers will be in brown shirts before long.

Exactly. My very English dad got a Knox Fellowship to study at Harvard. He stayed on, worked in NY and met my mother. I was born in the UK but his work took us back to NY where my brothers were born. He loved America, his family and friends there, and visited often for almost 60 years. Soft power.
