No international commercial passenger flights will operate yet, because --> No CIQ (Customs, Immigration, Quarantine) facilities, which are required for international operations due to damage at passenger terminal. Don't expect international connectivity to Mandalay to resume any time soon.

Yup - One of my fave ways of having pork here! That photo could have been one from my photo roll of lunches here in Myanmar πŸ₯°

Try it the other way next time? - looks like the folding in half and closing the two sides together might keep the lot intact πŸ€”πŸ™ Will try it myself when I am back across the border next - looks like I'll have a trip to Bangkok in the coming 2 weeks, bring on the 7-11 experiments!

All my years of doing one of the following two options: - forking the pasta side over to the sauce side and having it splash over the edge - spooning the sauce over to the pasta side and not getting all of the sauce Now I see this πŸ˜‚

Me too. Has been one of my fave dishes for many years I brought an Indian recipe book with some photos to the pearl farm a while back, on a small island. I asked the Burmese cook to try and make the vegetable malai kofta, and she absolutely nailed it. Very similar look to these pics.

great chat with Kim & Kelley who were both at &-42 after the show, to my surprise at the bar, thanks to David & Joe for joining for a drink at Mobius that night, after saying goodnight to Charles when he headed off to bed (from memory they had to head back to the US the next day - LONG TRIP)

Hobart, Tasmania, Australia - 7th April 2007 My 1st time to see @pixiesofficial.bsky.social live, was delighted to meet #Pixies at T-42 waterfront bar after the gig (spotted Charles 1st)- I shouted a drink as thanks, but always regretted not asking for a photo. My highlight was GOUGE AWAY!

Aside from "Input, INPUT" which I still quote every now and then, as a kid in the eighties, Number Five also taught me all the synonyms for angry: "Furious, livid, PERTURBED" πŸ˜‚
