This administration is so fragile. Even the faintest criticism stings them to the quick.

What's the over/under for how many days before Elon perishes because of a "freak plane crash," "drug overdose," "killer robot rampage," "rocket accident," or "experimental Li-ion battery explosion"? Are there Vegas odds yet? If not, maybe the AI that generated the tariffs could take a shot at it.

Don't screw around on the internets with an insanely rich, ketamine-infused manchild, no matter how much he reminds you of one of the campier Bond villains. It's not a rule yet, but it's one I'm proposing at this year's nominating convention.

Elsewhere in the multiverse . . . .

DEAN: What's the tariff on bananas? LUTNICK: Generally 10% DEAN: Walmart has already increased the cost of bananas by 8% LUTNICK: If you build in America, there is no tariff DEAN: We cannot build bananas in America

if Musk left the gig without copying every piece of incriminating information he alleges onto multiple secure devices then his script kiddie status is eternal. when you get inside you copy it or you are the lowest zero-privileges warez forum non-poster, i don't make the rules

A fight in a madhouse about who is Napoleon...

Oh yeah

Universities should be home to disagreement and debate. We do not make progress when we regurgitate received knowledge we've learned by rote. (AI can do that better than we can anyway.)

HAWLEY: Let's see the Trump chart. You don't think it's a little bit anomalous that Trump has so many more nationwide injunctions against him? KATE SHAW: A very plausible explanation you have to consider is that he's engaged in much more lawless activity than other presidents

I had a weekday morning ritual growing up. Before middle school and high school, it consisted of making myself some breakfast, checking the baseball box scores, and reading "Bloom County." Bloom County, George Carlin, and Frank Zappa taught me to be an attentive smartass in Reagan's 1980s.

"Yo, dawg, is that a WOLF MAN standing behind you?!??!???"

It was charming when pop culture criticized corruption. Now it's so passé. "A little girl saw you accepting the Sky Palace from Qatar and is losing faith in democracy, President Trump." "WTF do I care? Bring me a Diet Coke and have Stephen Miller scrubbed and brought to my tent."

Florida man.

Harvard is absolutely correct that Trump's moves against it implicate First Amendment freedoms. The federal government should not be dictating what universities--public or private--teach their students. Academic freedom has tremendous significance. Don't lobotomize our universities!

What's the over/under on when the Secretary of Uncanny Valley Defense and Pamela Blondi start arresting opponent politicians and citizens on fever-dream charges of espionage?

I'm thankful for my public school education. My best teachers taught me to question the narrative.

I'm glad to see Harvard fighting back. I have no particular love for Harvard, but its courage in the face of the administration's abuses of power is commendable.

“As you prepare to take this big leap into real life, here’s a little advice — if you’re willing to listen to a frog,” Kermit said. “Rather than jumping over someone to get what you want, consider reaching out your hand and taking the leap side by side, because life is better when we leap together.”

What would happen if Trump sent one of his "truths" and no one responded? What would happen if we allowed the news cycle to cover anything other than Trump? Why do we allow him to suck all the air from the room every day when he's shown repeatedly that what he says today expires by tomorrow?

Bob the Angry Flower would like a word with this apostrophe-abusing SOB.

I was a Generation X slacker. During these upsetting turbulent times, I’ve been self-soothing by repeating this shibboleth: “Things may be dark, but at the very least you lived to appreciate the Ed Stasium mix of Tim.”
