I’m a #PDH pilot and brewer. I love commons and people. Let’s paint alters of $0.25 cards and talk shop.

What is it about PDH that you find attractive? Price? Power level? Unconventional deck-building? For me it was the brewing restriction of only using commons, and the fact that I could paint on the cards unabashedly. The answer to that question might help you find a commander you like!

Yeah man I believe in Christ wholeheartedly and my wife and I think this is a bad decision, I didn’t know people were allowed to politicize the suicide and crisis hotline, I hope this gets stuffed tbh

It’s not average people that use AI that can get ahead, but those who know how to hide their AI use and make it look like original work. AI promotes dishonesty, because it’s built on dishonest data retrieving methods. Don’t use it.

This one is a B E A U T Y for the format.

The three-color uncommons are a relief for #PDH players too, coincidentally. It’s been since the last Tarkir set that some of these color combinations have had commander options. Thank you!

I think it’s cool, now, that tutors for dragons can find an instant/sorcery omen that shuffles itself back in.

Sugar Rush gets points for being the original, and black combat tricks are more exciting than white ones because it’s a bit more of a stretch on the color pie.

Here’s where I’d start on a deck dedicated to this newfangled wonder:

some weird combination of these cards makes me think that this isn’t unprecedented in effect, perhaps rate, but only if you’re picking the token…?

lots of people have given you specific commanders, but here’s the actual combos themselves, if you’re in a brewing mood. you can filter out the commander too, if you just wanna see the 99. hope this is helpful and not overwhelming! commanderspellbook.com/search/?q=le...

I don’t think so, it gives a good buffer window to help avoid impulsive decisions from the governing body.

Coincidentally, the uncommon creatures feel like they’re getting worse.

this is the explore commander we’ve always wanted, sorry nicanzil, current conductor

Ah, a #PDH staple that should be played in all multiplayer formats, I see.

sending ten more kindred decks right now, get that ratio fixed

Wind Drake (and its kin) ARE really good. In Limited, many of the 3-mana 2/2 flyers have some of the highest win rates among commons. moxfield.com/decks/N0egmC...

Gimme a downshift WOTC #PDH

6 damage for 3 mana at instant speed? That’s better that infamous Heated Debate!

What’s the PDH deck you’re most excited to - - Show Off? - Play with? - Lose With? I don’t get to see many scoob decks around!

The big commander is a great option, but I typically swing towards a passive strategy that generally rewards a long game by making X/X creatures, like: - Crowd-Control Warden - Seize the Storm - Leyline Invocation - Serpentine Curve Bonus points if you’re running instant and sorcery recursion :)

There’s a host of recent effects I’ve enjoyed immensely from green, that is slowly becoming a stable archetype. - Ambitious Dragonborn - Tumbleweed Rising - Miming Slime - Dance of the Tumbleweeds I’m very excited to get more of these as time goes on, and see how big things can get.

I’m trying out Chainer’s Edict in my Morbid Opportunist list for cPDH, we’ll see how it goes!

absolute house in competitive #PDH. Lost a game today because someone had it deployed and I couldn’t interact behind it. It was, also, a foil.

Is there any weird stuff you can do by targeting your own stuff with the ETB?? Like with maskwood nexus?

doesn’t matter where, i’ll still flood

You can build a #PDH deck around one of them, and you can put the other one IN your PDH decks.

brought to you sincerely by silly guy saturday: Flowerfoot Swordmaster #PDH www.moxfield.com/decks/2nY9HB...

The other ones are fine, like reckoners bargain and fanatical offering, but this one is pretty silly.

Why not put the fog effect in the command zone? Here’s a decklist that surprised me in #PDH. www.moxfield.com/decks/reCb5X...

WUBRG at the minimum, that first ability shuts off creature ETBs that would normally interact with it. Like edicts.
