Not even something that COULD be scary.
It's more like "fear of pasta". It exists. Some people love it. It's arguably a helpful thing to a significant population of people. You don't have to like it, but being afraid of it sounds like a lazy personality trait.

Alley access to the rear, which is nice. It's zoned SF-4-T, so while it can't be a 2-family building, it could have an ADU as a second, smaller unit.
Requires 12' total side setback, so it's a skinny 13'-wide building unless it's built to be attached (fire wall on one side). Then it can be 18' wide.

$50mm/yr for targeted local reporting in the top 50 metro regions. Thousands of articles about local corruption, advocacy, and citizenry.
I'm all in.
Plus, some of those folks will go on to get big and build the huge audiences they actually (think they) want.

I'm going to be extra upset if you made me read your autoresponse syaing you weren't going to be in the office until Tuesday AND THEN YOU STILL REPLY TO MY MESSAGE.

According to that rule, the police shouldn't be participating in that ceremony, either.

But only an arbitrary blood and soil definition, of course. Not even the fully-extended logic that would give the nation back to the indigenous people that it was stolen from.

Pick a mayor who will expand open streets to all communities and give the program the proper funding it needs, folks.

Right! This isn't a "net loss". It is the cost of the service. We pay the money and get a service. It's worth something (a lot)!
Things like infrastructure, libraries, postal service, and health care ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PROFITABLE.

You know that if it was a progressive safety/density/cycling/pedestrian/upzoned /sustainability effort that there would be years of public debate and feedback _requirements_ included.

Statistically, driving slower makes the roads MUCH safer. Even a lot less than the speed limit.
Conversely, driving even a tiny bit over the speed limit makes the road (including all users on and nearby, including infrastructure) much more dangerous.
